  abstract = {Електронне видання присвячено онлайн-енциклопедіям. Це – зібрання інформації про національні та універсальні онлайн-енциклопедії світу у вигляді атласу. Вміщує відомості про онлайнові енциклопедії країн Європи, Америки, Азії, Африки та Австралії, що укладені різними мовами. Реєстр поданих онлайн-енциклопедій не є цілком вичерпним: сюди ввійшли лише джерела загальних знань, що в 21 столітті заступають класичні багатотомні енциклопедичні видання або є однією з форм їх сучасного розвитку. Зазвичай великі онлайн-енциклопедії містять актуалізовану інформацію, а тому цілком закономірно конкурують з електронними ЗМІ. Майбутнє енциклопедистики – це розвиток в усьому світі онлайн-енциклопедій як політично незалежних довідкових платформ, що забезпечують для людей різних мов і культур доступ до авторитетної, надійної та достовірної інформації. Сподіваємося, що «Атлас національних онлайн-енциклопедій світу» сприятиме такому прогресу.; This digital publication focuses on online encyclopedias. It presents an atlas-style survey of national and universal online encyclopedias from around the world. The edition includes information on encyclopedic resources available in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa, and Australia, produced in a variety of languages. The register is not exhaustive: it covers only general-knowledge online encyclopedias that, in the 21st century, have come to replace traditional multivolume reference works or represent new forms of their modern development. Major online encyclopedias typically offer continually updated information and therefore increasingly compete with digital media. The future of encyclopedics lies in the global growth of politically independent online reference platforms that provide people of different languages and cultures with access to authoritative, reliable, and accurate knowledge. We hope that the Atlas of National Online Encyclopedias of the World will contribute to this progress.},
